Our Families

Every Product Has a Story. Every Story Has a Family.

At FindJoy, our products are not just designs. They are born from real families, real friendships, and real journeys through childhood illness. When you wear FindJoy, you carry their stories with you. 10% of every sale goes directly to families like these.

The Original FindJoy: Where It All Began

In 2016, an incredible 9-year-old girl battling pediatric cancer put pen to paper and wrote the word that would become a movement: findJoy. Her handwriting, imperfect, hopeful, and brave, became the FindJoy logo that you see on every product we make.

That girl was our first family. Seven years later, she has moved to the survivorship clinic. Her handwriting lives on in everything we do.

Daisy: A Friendship That Lives On

At Seattle Children's Hospital School, two young girls found each other. Despite their medical circumstances, they became close friends, finding joy in the routine of school and the gift of friendship. Sadly, one of those girls, Daisy, passed away at age eight.

Years later, Shelby partnered with the original FindJoy girl to create the Daisy product line in honor of that friendship. Daisy's memory lives on through the Daisy Rainbow Toy Program that benefits pediatric patients at Benefis Health Systems.

Every Daisy product carries her memory and the reminder that even the shortest lives can leave the deepest mark.

FINDJOY In The Climb: Grandma's Trees

The family we are currently spreading JOY to have some very special trees on their property. They were planted 18 years ago by their Grandma. And today they are filled with forts that her grandchildren have made. Their grandma's act of planting trees gave future generations such JOY.

We know from our own journey with our daughter's health the value of finding JOY no matter how hard the climb. This design is a reminder that joy can grow from the smallest seeds, and that what we plant today can bring joy for generations.

Tubies are Tubular: Celebrating Tubie Kids

For families navigating feeding tubes and the daily realities of tube-fed children, this line is a celebration. Tubies ARE tubular. These kids are warriors, and this shirt lets them, and everyone around them, know it.

When Shelby's own daughter was diagnosed with Failure to Thrive, the tubie community became a source of strength, resources, and yes, JOY.
